Scottsdale Unified School District is hiring a Senior Nutritional Services Worker for Arcadia High School in Phoenix, AZ. Immediate start with part-time hours (3.75 hours/day) in a busy cafeteria environment.

Responsibilities include food preparation and cooking, cashiering, serving, inventory monitoring, and maintaining a clean dining area. Requires a high school diploma or GED and six months of related experience; ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, and six months of food handling, service, preparation and/or cashiering experience.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing and cooking foods, including baking and panning frozen items.
• Collects money for lunches, balances cash drawers, and helps with daily cash reports.
• Serves and replenishes food supply in the cafeteria.
• Cleans cafeteria and kitchen areas and maintains sanitary conditions.
• Prepares cafeteria for meals, arranges utensils, napkins and serving equipment.
• Monitors food inventory and supports daily meal service.
