Job summary

Chartwells K-12 at Flint Cultural Center Academy in Flint, MI is hiring food service workers for full-time and part-time schedules. Shifts include 8:00 AM-2:00 PM, 10:30 AM-2:00 PM, or 10:30 AM-6:00 PM; online applications accepted.

We offer uniforms and training, with pay ranging from $14.50 to $20.00 per hour and an internal employee referral bonus. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required. Diversity of thought and inclusion drive our success.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
