Chartwells K12 in Muskegon Heights Public School Academy System is hiring immediately for full time and part time Food Service Worker positions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with pay range $13.73–$16.00 per hour.

No prior food service experience is required, though preferred. The role involves preparing, presenting and serving meals in an educational setting, while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
