Responsibilities

• Complete assigned breakfast and lunch preparation tasks in designated areas.
• Follow standardized recipes and report discrepancies.
• Operate foodservice equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work station.
• Take food temperatures and record readings as required.
• Maintain records of foods prepared, used, leftovers, and discarded.
• Rotate stock to ensure freshness and safety.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and organizing food/supplies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment after use.
• Assist in conducting inventories of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Arrange and organize service areas per diagrams and procedures.
• Serve correct portions using standard utensils.
• Monitor self-service areas and replenish as needed.
• Check temperatures of foods and equipment regularly.
• Provide friendly customer service and address questions.
• Report student discipline problems as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas before, during, and after meals.
