Job summary

Nutri-Serve is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to prepare and serve nutritious meals in a friendly, efficient cafeteria environment. You will assist in meal prep, menu setup, and serving, while maintaining cleanliness and accuracy in related paperwork.

The role requires teamwork, strong customer service, and the ability to follow instructions. NJ background check and fingerprinting are required; prior food service experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Pass state background check and fingerprinting (NJ).
• Food service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and cafeteria setup.
• Check with Kitchen Manager for daily assignments.
• Assist in daily menu preparation and napkin/utensil setup.
• Serve nutritious meals to students and maintain a friendly atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness of the cafeteria and serving lines.
• Complete records and administrative tasks related to sales and deposits.
• Assist in inventorying and ordering with the Kitchen Manager.
