Job summary

Roosevelt School District 66 is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Custodian at Percy L. Julian School to support breakfast and lunch service, maintain cleanliness in the cafeteria and kitchen areas, and assist with loading and transporting food and supplies.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and adherence to safety procedures in a busy school environment. Prior custodial experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up cafeteria tables for breakfast and lunch.
• Sweep and mop cafeteria floors before, during, and after meals.
• Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and trash cans.
• Spot clean spills to prevent accidents; dispose of rubbish per health standards.
• Assist with receiving and transporting food and supplies in the cafeteria.
• Support loading/unloading of food deliveries and equipment.
