Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform precise math calculations.
• Flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and willingness to take on tasks.
• Upholds high ethical standards/integrity and takes responsibility for conduct.
• Maintains a criminal background clear record for public school employment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and operate commercial kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals.
• Sets up serving lines and maintains sanitary kitchen.
• Receives deliveries and verifies quantities.
• Records meals served and charges collected; reconciles discrepancies.
• Operates cash register/POS per district guidelines.
• Works with staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Supports health and safety inspections and follows sanitation procedures.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
