Job summary

The Centennial School District is seeking a Cook for the districtwide cafeteria program. Responsibilities include preparing meals to standardized recipes, maintaining HACCP compliance, and operating food service equipment.

You will monitor temperatures, log daily records, manage portions and inventory, set up serving lines, and assist with serving students, staff, and faculty in a school setting. Immediate start.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow standardized recipes to nutritional guidelines.
• Operate food service equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform math for quantities and portion control.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Maintain daily production records and temperature logs.
• Oversee FIFO inventory and ensure proper food temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to planned menus and tested recipes.
• Set up serving lines with utensils and foods; serve on the line.
• Assist with serving students, faculty and staff; replenish as needed.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and corrections as needed.
• Maintain, organize and clean refrigerators, freezers and storerooms.
• Record daily production, temperatures, and other required reports.
