Edmonson County Public Schools is seeking a School Food Service Cook to prepare, cook, bake, and serve a variety of foods in quantity at an assigned school site. You will assist in other food preparation duties and maintain facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.

The role requires effective communication with parents, students, and staff, plus the ability to train and provide work direction to others. Adherence to safety and sanitation procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Shall communicate effectively both orally and in writing with parents, students and faculty.
• Shall have demonstrated people skills to indicate ability to function in a team oriented environment.
• Shall have a high school diploma or GED.
• Shall complete training course for certification of beginning school food service personnel as prescribed in 702 KAR 6:045.
