Qualifications

• High school graduate; some food service training preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred; district can provide if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all areas of food production with emphasis on quality and safety.
• Perform HACCP duties and record HACCP information.
• Notify Manager when food is needed and help keep kitchen running smoothly.
• Assist in filling production records and serving students and staff.
• Monitor allergies for students and maintain sufficient serving supplies.
• Record money and lunches on the computer and manage student accounts.
• Report problems or equipment issues to the Manager.
• Help with cash handling and end-of-service cash counters.
• Clean kitchen and cafeteria areas after serving; store food items with date records.
• Assist in receiving and inventory; collaborate with staff to plan menus.
