Job summary

LifeSkills Connection Inc. is seeking a Dining Services Assistant to support cooks in meal preparation, service, and sanitation within the dining facility.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the serving line, maintaining clean dining and kitchen areas, and serving students, staff, and guests in a respectful, efficient manner. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months of food service experience; Serve Safe/NRA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NRA Food Service Sanitation or Serve Safe certification preferred or required.
• One to three months food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown of the serving line.
• Keep dining and kitchen areas clean and organized.
• Assist with replenishment and restocking of items.
• Serve students, staff, and guests in a courteous manner.
• Assist with dishes and waste disposal.
• Follow HACCP safety and sanitary rules.
