Qualifications

• Must have previous related experience working in an institutional kitchen.
• Must have experience with quantity food production.
• Basic math and computational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a good working knowledge of applicable department and District policies and procedures.
• Confers with the immediate supervisor or in-charge individual to ensure correct work priorities and information.
• Maintains cooperative, productive workplace relationships and a pleasant environment for staff and customers.
• Performs food preparation and duties of a Food Service Worker based on recipes and procedures.
• Performs duties related to preparation, serving and cleanup of meals for school events.
• Attends in-service or district training to stay current on policies and procedures.
