Lincoln Park Public Schools seeks an Assistant Cook for Lincoln Park High School in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Serv-Safe Certification required.
• Ability to read and adjust quantity cooking recipes.
• Knowledge and ability to use commercial kitchen equipment.
• Catering experience preferred.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Very good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to pass or provide proof of passing physical.
• Prior Utility Truck Driver experience preferred or able to drive a 14' box truck.

Responsabilités

• Follow health, sanitation, and safety rules.
• Complete production records daily for USDA.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and assist with food ordering.
• Batch cooking.
• Maintain accurate production records, including temperatures.
• Assist in cleaning and storing equipment and food supplies.
• Adhere to FIFO and health department rules and regulations.
• Ensure meals are ready to serve at set times with building staff.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct with staff and students.
• Other duties as assigned by Food Service Management Team.
