Nettleton School District is seeking a dependable Substitute School Cafeteria Worker to assist in preparing nutritious meals and serving students. You’ll follow health and sanitation rules, operate kitchen equipment safely, and support the Cafeteria Manager with daily tasks in a fast-paced school setting.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, good teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Immediate starting date and a friendly, patient approach are valued traits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality, nutritious food items as directed by the School Cafeteria Manager.
• Serve food items according to portion sizes for age group requirements.
• Operate equipment in a safe, proper and efficient manner.
• Maintain high standards of safety, sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Follow health department rules and regulations.
• Observe safety rules and regulations; report accidents or quality issues to the Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the School Cafeteria Manager.
