Upstate Caring Partners in Central New York is hiring a Food Service/School Aide earning $17.50 per hour to support nutritious meals for students in a clean, welcoming cafeteria. You will collaborate with district/BOCES partners on meal orders and documentation, assist in meal prep and serving, maintain supplies, and ensure food safety, sanitation, and accurate meal records.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of housekeeping or food service experience; SCIP-R

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-year housekeeping and/or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with district/BOCES partners to prepare meal orders and ensure food safety compliance.
• Assist in meal preparation and serving following guidelines and portions.
• Maintain cafeteria supplies and keep serving areas clean and organized.
• Record meals served and provide documentation to district/BOCES partners.
• Follow storage, handling, labeling, and sanitation procedures.
• Receive and store deliveries and manage inventory.
• Provide friendly customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Assist in coordinating individual/group activities in line with IEPs and mealtime plans.
