Job summary

Upstate Cerebral Palsy in Chadwicks, NY, is seeking a Food Service/School Aide to provide nutritious meals in a welcoming, clean environment. You will work with school district/BOCES partners to ensure safe handling and serving of food.

Responsibilities include meal prep, serving, keeping records, sanitation, and adherence to food safety guidelines. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with 1 year of housekeeping or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with district/BOCES partners to process meal orders and ensure food safety compliance.
• Assist in meal preparation and serving following guidelines and portion controls.
• Maintain adequate supplies in classrooms and cafeteria.
• Serve food courteously and maintain cleanliness in serving and dining areas.
• Keep records of meals served and report shortages to the Cafeteria Manager.
• Follow health and safety regulations and proper use of equipment.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies as needed.
• Provide supportive, customer-focused service to students and staff.
