Under general supervision, the incumbent ensures safety of students on the buses and other school property by enforcing school rules and policies pertaining to student behavior. In addition, the incumbent assists with bus cleaning, tracks records, and attends conferences for bus incidents.
The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions; frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles; occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level is usually loud.
Position Type: Full & Part-time. Salary: $15.15 to $17.12 per hour.
