Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must sign a release form for criminal record check and must complete and pass a physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Assist students during transport and during loading and unloading
• Properly secure students and/or equipment
• Inform students of bus safety requirements
• Monitor student behavior to diffusing situations and preventing distraction to the driver or injury to students
• Assist in the evacuation of students from the bus during emergencies
• Attend all safety meetings as required
• Promote positive public relations
• Work cooperatively with all students, system personnel, and parents
• Perform other duties as requested
