Responsibilities

• Operates school buses in compliance with laws, rules, and procedures.
• Maintains safety and discipline on the bus for students and staff.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of buses.
• Coordinates with principals and transportation supervisors on route and discipline.
• Transports students and staff to events and field trips.
• Notifies leadership of mechanical issues and reports damages.
• Ensures proper securing of restraints and assists students boarding buses.
