Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking a Bus Operator to transport students in the Nettie, Canvas and Summersville areas, Monday through Friday from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. This position falls under Nicholas County Board of Education transportation. The role is a Standard 200 Day Contract, Pay Grade D, with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• WV State regulations govern transportation requirements.
• Ability to perform duties per NCBOE/Nicholas County policies.
• Must remain free of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses safely and follow rules and schedules.
• Perform pre/post inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate route schedules and student rosters.
• Assist students with disabilities as needed.
• Communicate with school officials, parents and supervisors.
• Ensure regular attendance and adherence to policies.
