Nimble in Indiana is seeking a Mechanic to ensure safe operation of district vehicles and equipment. You will service, maintain and repair, provide documentation of repairs in accordance with Federal and State regulations, and the policies and procedures of the La Porte Community School Corporation Board of Directors.

Responsibilities include diagnosing problems, performing preventive maintenance, supporting transportation operations, maintaining records, and coordinating with the Director of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have Class B CDL with air brake endorsements and school bus/public passenger endorsements.
• Prior diesel/gasoline vehicle maintenance experience is required.
• Able to pass background check and pre-employment drug testing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to maintain records.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose problems and repair and maintain district vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections for safe operation.
• Maintain records of repairs, parts, and maintenance activities.
• Assist with buses, fuel ordering, and coordination with Transportation Director.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain confidentiality and professional appearance.
