Detroit Country Day School is seeking a skilled and dependable School Bus Maintenance Technician & Driver to keep our transportation fleet safe, reliable, and ready to serve students every day. This hands‑on position is responsible for maintaining and repairing school buses and vehicles, performing preventative maintenance, conducting required inspections, and supporting daily transportation operations.
In addition to fleet maintenance, this position serves as a substitute bus driver for routes, athletic events, and field trips as needed. Flexibility to respond to occasional after‑hours transportation needs, including evenings, weekends, school breaks, and emergency situations, is essential. This position reports to the Transportation Supervisor and is a full‑time, 12‑month position.
