EDUCATIONAL SERVICE DIST 112 Educational Service District 112 - Vancouver, Washington is seeking an Assistant Bus Fleet Technician/Mechanic. The role performs mechanical service and maintenance of school buses, reporting to the Bus Fleet Technician/Mechanic.

It is full-time hours per day, year-round, with regular attendance expected. The position offers an hourly salary range of $24.57 - $29.90, with offers at the start of the range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of automotive repair/maintenance experience.
• Valid Washington CDL (Class C) with passenger endorsement required.
• Experience in a public sector setting and with buses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and bus safety inspections.
• Change oil/filters, adjust brakes, lubricate chassis and related assemblies.
• Operate shop tools and diagnostic equipment for repairs.
• Maintain records of fleet maintenance and service work.
• May drive bus routes occasionally.
