EDUCATIONAL SERVICE DIST 112 Educational Service District 112 - Vancouver, Washington is seeking a School Bus Attendant to support the driver in maintaining student safety on routes and trips. The role involves enforcing safety rules, assisting with boarding and seating, and ensuring secure operation of restraints.

The position is 20–30 hours weekly on a school-year schedule with morning and afternoon routes, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid first aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the School Bus Driver to ensure student safety on routes.
• Monitor student behavior during transportation and promote positive conduct.
• Ensure students remain seated and follow bus safety rules.
• Secure wheelchairs, seat belts, harnesses and other restraints as required.
• Document unsafe student behavior and bus environment for reporting.
• Maintain safety equipment usage and participate in safety trainings.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and supervisors.
