Pawling Central School District is seeking qualified School Bus Driver(s) to operate buses for students and passengers in a safe, reliable manner. The role is approximately 5+/- hours per day and offers benefit eligibility.

Salary ranges from $28.29 to $30.18 per hour under the CSEA Salary Grade C. Candidates must have a CDL Class B license with P/S endorsements and pass required physical exams and tests while demonstrating knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of continuous, uninterrupted driving experience.
• CDL Class B License with P/S endorsements required.
• Pass required physical examination and physical requirement tests; knowledge of traffic laws.

Responsabilités

• Operate a school bus under all driving and road conditions.
• Follow simple verbal and written directions; maintain safety of students and passengers.
• Ensure vehicle pre-trip checks and compliance with regulations.

Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations; ability to operate a bus under all driving and road conditions; ability to understand and follow simple verbal and written directions; ability to get along well with students and/or adult passengers; mechanical aptitude; mental alertness and dependability.
