Job summary

Wyoming Child is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport children and families to and from the center. The role requires a valid Wyoming driver’s license, liability insurance, and CDL with S and P endorsements.

Training in CPR/First Aid is required within 90 days, with background checks and health assessments part of the process. Base pay rate is $16.10 per hour, with expectations to maintain safe transport, complete route coordination, and perform routine bus maintenance and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a valid WY driver’s license and liability insurance.
• Willing to obtain Class C CDL with S and P endorsements.
• Willing to complete AHA CPR and First Aid training within 90 days.
• Must pass background check and health/physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children and families to and from the center.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and follow traffic laws.
• Maintain and manage bus routes and schedules.
• Conduct regular maintenance and upkeep on assigned vehicle.
• Maintain required paperwork (miles, expenses, logs, receipts).
• Ensure safety of all passengers and enforce seat belt use.
