Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development is hiring a Bus Driver to safely transport children and families to and from the center. The role requires a valid Wyoming driver’s license and a Class C CDL with S and P endorsements, plus any required safety trainings.

You will coordinate daily routes, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle logs. Responsibilities include ensuring passenger safety, complying with all regulations, and providing emergency care when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and liability insurance as required by Wyoming State Law.
• Willing to obtain Class C CDL with S and P endorsements as needed.
• Must complete AHA CPR and First Aid training within 90 days of hire.
• Subject to random drug and alcohol testing during employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children and families to and from the center.
• Coordinate transportation needs with the Center Director daily.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and follow traffic laws.
• Maintain bus and vehicle upkeep including logs and maintenance records.
• Ensure all passengers are buckled and safe for travel.
• Provide emergency care when necessary and communicate with center staff.
