Job summary

Wyomingindianschools is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students, staff, and others across district routes and field trips. Under supervision of the Director of Facilities, you will follow time schedules, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain order.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, and knowledge of traffic laws. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsement.

• Ability to safely transport students and adhere to district policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school bus on designated routes and field trips according to schedules.
• Transports students, teachers, and other passengers.
• Performs pre-trip inspections and routine bus maintenance as needed.
• Cleans and refuels bus and ensures all safety devices are functional.
• Keeps accurate records of routes, trips, and incidents.
• Maintains order and discipline among students in accordance with district rules.
• Reports any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues promptly.
