Responsibilities

Operates the assigned school bus on routes and schedules as directed by Transportation Director.
Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports any defects to the Transportation Director or on-site mechanic.
Maintains discipline and safety of students, follows school bus regulations, and secures the bus after each run.
Completes required reports and ensures bus is secured and ready for the next trip.
Establishes safe paths, communicates with principals/parents as needed, and follows emergency procedures when required.
