Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking a Substitute School Bus Driver to safely transport students and staff on scheduled routes and field trips, while maintaining discipline and ensuring vehicle readiness.

Role requires strict adherence to traffic laws, pre-trip inspections, and timely reporting of any incidents. Experience with school transports is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, road signs and related information.
• Manual dexterity to operate the bus, conduct pre-trip inspections, and clean the bus.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and follow procedures and traffic signs.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school bus on their designated routes when school is in session.
• Transports students, teachers and others on field or activity trips.
• Inspects bus daily and ensures it is safe and clean.
• Maintains order and discipline among students per district policies.
• Reports safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Completes required records and reports.
