Qualifications

• Valid Oklahoma CDL with P and S endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and school bus regulations.
• Ability to work with students of all ages and abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus on routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain order and discipline on the bus.
• Enforce traffic laws and bus regulations.
• Report accidents or mechanical problems to the transportation supervisor.
• Maintain records of mileage, routes, and student behavior.
• Communicate with students, parents, staff, and transportation department.
• Clean and sanitize the bus interior.
• Assist students with disabilities as required.
• Participate in training programs and safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
