Quincy School District is seeking a part‑time Bus Driver to transport students safely to and from school and activities, while following state laws and district policies. The role requires attention to safety, completion of required paperwork, and participation in safety trainings.

Qualified applicants will have 2+ years of driving experience, a valid WA School Bus Driver's certificate (or ability to obtain), and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have English communication ability with students, parents, staff and community.
• Two years driving experience required.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screening as a condition of employment.
• Possess a valid Washington State School Bus Driver's certificate or be able to obtain.
• CDL medical certificate or ability to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Operate a school bus according to Washington laws and district policies.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and routine safety checks.
• Maintain passenger safety and report unsafe acts or conditions.
• Complete trip records, time sheets and other required documentation.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings as required.
• Assist other transportation staff as needed.
• Operate on scheduled routes and varied trips; work flexible hours.
• Adhere to schedules while maintaining confidentiality and safety.
