Job summary

Quincy School District is seeking a substitute transportation/bus driver to support the District's transportation services in Quincy, Washington. This on-call assignment provides coverage as needed to ensure student safety and timely transportation.

Applicants must hold a valid WA driver’s license for at least five years, a CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, OSPI authorization, and pass background and DOT drug/alcohol checks, plus CDL medical clearance.

Qualifications

• Have at least five years of experience as a licensed driver of a passenger vehicle.
• Submit to a criminal record check according to RCW requirements.
• Satisfactorily complete a school bus driver training course.
• Meet continuing school bus driver requirements in WAC 392-144-102.

Responsibilities

• Operate substitute bus routes as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.
• Maintain safety and follow district policies and procedures.
• Complete required training and in-service as scheduled.
• Support student safety during boarding and alighting.
