Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License with passenger and school bus endorsements, no air brake restriction.
• Valid Washington State Commercial Driver's License.
• Must maintain a CPR/First Aid card.
• Ability to pass a WA physical examination.
• Criminal justice fingerprint clearance and drug testing clearance.
• Demonstrated reliability and good driving record.
• Evidence of good moral character and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Drive bus on scheduled routes and activities; maintain control of passengers; report unsafe activities.
• Inspect, service and clean bus; report mechanical problems; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Complete required records and reports per state/local policies.
• Attend required training courses.
• Administer first aid if necessary.
• Observe traffic laws and safety regulations; ensure safe operation of the bus.
