Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Valid North Carolina Class A or B CDL with school bus certification and S and P endorsements.
• Ability to perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and document results.
• Ability to maintain discipline and respond to student safety needs.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations for school buses.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required.
• Operate the assigned school bus on the route(s) and schedule provided.
• Report changes to route or schedule to the Bus Driver Manager.
• Obey all traffic laws and school bus regulations.
• Maintain a clean bus and report any accidents or issues.
• Secure the bus and monitor student safety during runs.
