Qualifications

• High school diploma; experience driving large vehicles preferred.
• Experience transporting students preferred.
• Ability to follow Transportation Department operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document inspections as required.
• Operate the assigned school bus on the route and schedule.
• Maintain discipline of students and enforce bus safety rules.
• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Zone Transportation Supervisor.
• Secure the bus and ensure all passengers are safe before leaving the vehicle.
