Job summary

Mason County School District is seeking a School Bus Driver to ensure safe and reliable transportation for students, staff, and school activities. The role requires operating a school bus on scheduled routes, maintaining safety standards, and supervising students during trips.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, accurate reporting, and clear communication with dispatch and school staff. Prior driving experience and appropriate CDL endorsements are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with students, staff and parents.
• Ability to manage time and routes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school bus on designated routes on school days.
• Transports students, teachers and others on field or activity trips.
• Inspects the bus daily for safety and maintenance needs.
• Maintains order and discipline among students according to district policies.
• Reports incidents, maintenance needs and route timings as required.
