Old City Academy in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking a dependable Bus Driver to safely transport children to and from school and activities, following routes and schedules while upholding safety standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. CDL preferred; prior experience with children is a plus. Must be 21+ years old and meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required (CDL preferred).
• Prior experience driving children or in a similar role preferred.
• Must meet all state and local requirements for transporting children.
• Ability to pass background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screening, asrequired.
• Must be at least 21 years of age (or as required by state regulations).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children to and from school and activities, following established routes and schedules.
• Ensure a safe, supervised environment during every ride, including smooth pick-up and drop-off routines.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks to keep your bus clean, safe, and ready for the road.
• Communicate with school staff regarding schedules, delays, or any concerns to keep operations running smoothly.
• Support the school, as needed, during non-driving times.
