You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, enforce bus safety rules, supervise students, and report incidents while adhering to Florida DOE and FLHSMV standards.

A standard high school diploma and a valid Florida CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements

Qualifications

• Valid Florida CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Clean driving record with no major moving violations or convictions within the last 3–5 years.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• Strong communication skills, patience with children, and punctual availability on short notice.
• Standard High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely to and from school, athletic competitions, field trips, and campus activities according to designated schedules and routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify operating condition and report issues.
• Enforce bus safety rules, supervise students, and report serious infractions.
• Follow emergency procedures and adhere to Florida DOE and FLHSMV standards.
