Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus or vehicle safely on designated routes.
• Maintain high ethical standards and report suspicious behavior.
• Report for duty on time and maintain punctual routes.
• Assist passengers during emergencies.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately.
• Follow policies on student and passenger management.
• Present a professional appearance.
• Complete required paperwork promptly.
• Maintain cooperation with colleagues and promote goodwill.
• Operate vehicle equipment safely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old (25 in Tennessee).
• Possess or be able to obtain valid state licenses and certifications.
• Meet physical and medical standards; pass substance screening.
• Complete all training successfully.
• Practice defensive driving and safe work habits.
• Comply with all applicable driver requirements.
