School Bus Driver

PAY RATE: $24.50 up to $30.00/hr

BONUS: Sign on bonus $1,500.00 paid out over 90 days for fully licensed drivers.

Responsibilities Include

• Providing safe transportation by operating a school bus or similar vehicle.
• Exhibiting high ethical standards and reporting concerns.
• Reporting on time and maintaining routes safely.
• Assisting passengers in emergencies.
• Reporting accidents or incidents.
• Managing students/passengers per policies.
• Maintaining a professional appearance.
• Completing required paperwork timely.
• Promoting good relations with all stakeholders.
• Using vehicle equipment safely.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Additional responsibilities may apply for Paratransit Drivers depending on location.

Qualifications

Requirements include:

• Minimum age of 21 (25 for Tennessee drivers).
• Valid or obtainable state licenses and certifications.
• Passing physical, medical, and drug screening.
• Successful completion of training.
• Defensive driving skills.
• Compliance with all driver requirements.
