Job summary

Pennridge School District is seeking a Bus Driver – Jumper with CDL incl. School Bus Endorsement for a 10-month bargaining unit position in Perkasie, PA. Reports to the Director of Transportation. Anticipated start date: Immediately. Salary in accordance with PESPA agreement.

The role requires safe transportation of students, route planning, and maintaining records while upholding district policies and safety standards. This is a hands-on driver role with related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or demonstrated ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Valid Pennsylvania CDL with necessary endorsements and air brake restrictions lifted.
• Satisfaction of all State and Federal requirements to drive students and school buses.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and/or activities in accordance with laws and district policy.
• Maintain accurate reports, time sheets, mileage records and ensure driving credentials and roster are current.
• Establish and adhere to safe bus routes and schedules; inspect vehicle daily and report issues.
