Job summary

Central Bucks School District seeks CDL Trainers for the Transportation Department. CDL Trainers must present the Pennsylvania School Bus Driver Training Course to prospective bus driver applicants and demonstrate motivation to coach/new trainee development.

Requirements include a current CDL with school Bus, Passenger and Air Brake endorsements, completion of the State 20-hour CDL Trainers course, and at least two years of bus driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must present the Pennsylvania School Bus Driver Training Course to applicants.
• Must motivate and commit to coaching/train new driver trainees to meet CDL state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Present the School Bus Driver Training Course to prospective applicants.
• Coach and train new driver trainees to pass state CDL requirements and endorsements (S.P. and Air Brake).
• Conduct driver recertification skills tests as required by the State.
• Work as a team, communicate effectively, follow written and verbal instructions, and complete tasks.
