Fitzgerald Public Schools in Warren, MI is hiring a School Bus Driver for the 2026-2027 school year with guaranteed 25 hours per week. Schedule is Monday–Friday, generally 6:30am–9:30am and 2:30pm–4:30pm. Salary ranges from $19.95 to $25.13 per hour, with $19.50 for new drivers during probation period.

We offer competitive benefits and paid training. Requirements include CDL-B with air brake and P & S endorsements, CLP, DOT health and drug testing, and a High School diploma or equivalent.

Competenze

• Proof of excellent driving record.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must meet and maintain health requirements of DOT regulations.
• Must meet and maintain Federal DOT drug/alcohol testing requirements.
• Must meet and maintain District/Michigan Department of Education competency levels of driving skills.
• Previous work experience with children of all ages including children with disabilities and the ability to be sensitive to their needs preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work directly with students in an appropriate and professional manner and to give direction as needed.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outside and drive in inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to sit and drive for extended period of time.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop and squat as part of daily job duties.
