Job summary

Vicksburg-Warren School District Transportation is seeking a Bus Driver to provide safe daily transportation for students under the supervision of the Transportation team. This full-time position requires a Class B CDL with endorsements, relevant certifications, and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Mississippi Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements.
• Valid Mississippi School Bus Driver Certificate.
• Annual basic First Aid and school bus driver training as required.

Responsibilities

• Obey all traffic laws for school buses (not exceeding applicable speed limits).
• Maintain discipline on bus and during loading/unloading; report issues in writing.
• Keep assigned route bus/ spare bus clean and on schedule.
• Notify Transportation Supervisor of any mechanical issues or lateness promptly.
