The Black Horse Pike Regional School District anticipates an opening for a full-time School Bus Driver for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Must hold a valid N.J. CDL Class B License with passenger endorsement, no passenger restrictions and School Bus Endorsements
• Demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
• Ability to maintain passenger discipline to ensure their safety and well-being and protect against vandalism
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
  
  

Performance Responsibilities

• Conducts a daily safety inspection of the bus, completes the School Bus Condition Report and submits weekly.
• Obeys all traffic laws.
• Notifies the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or lateness.
• Observes all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
• Maintains discipline when students are on the bus.
• Reports undisciplined students to the proper authority.
• Adheres to established routes, designated bus stops and keeps to assigned time schedule.
• Discharges students only at authorized stops.
• Keeps assigned bus clean and fueled.
• Exercises responsible leadership when on out -of -state school trips.
• Transports only authorized students.
• Reports all accidents and completes required reports.
• Enforces regulations against smoking and eating on the bus.
• Performs any and all other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
  
  

Additional compensation will be paid paid for transporting students to Co-curricular Activities and Sports.

Salary Range - $32,800 - $50,912 - Annually

Per policy 4125, the district will give preference to qualified individuals who are residents of the Black Horse Pike Regional School District.
