Job summary

Inspire Development Centers seeks a Bus Driver Custodian to transport children safely on fixed routes and maintain a clean, orderly premises. Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, daily logs, and assisting with facility upkeep and safety trainings.

The position requires English/Spanish communication, CDL endorsements, and adherence to safety protocols. It offers growth within an established ECE and social services organization serving Washington state families.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and/or Spanish.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in bus safety and risk management.
• Must be 25+ years old with a valid Washington CDL (B/C with P1/P2, and school bus endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Attend to health, safety and well‑being of bus occupants; manage routes as approved by Center Manager.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and required logs (attendance, mileage, maintenance).
• Provide in‑service trainings and conduct safety drills and evacuations.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Keep facility clean and safe; handle supplies inventory and basic repairs as needed.
