Qualifications

• Education – High School Diploma or the equivalency certificate.
• Possess current CDL and a Student Transportation Certification.
• Pass a regular physical, visual, and hearing examination.
• Must be alert, careful, and possess the ability to maintain emotional calm in periods of emergency.
• First Aid/CPR Certified.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and extensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school or other designated functions.
• Operate the bus or transportation vehicles safely.
• Supervise children during field trips as needed.
• Load/unload passengers and ensure seating when moving.
• Maintain student discipline during bus operation.
• Prepare safety reports, mileage logs, and maintenance logs as directed.
• Keep vehicle clean and in safe condition.
• Assist with custodial maintenance tasks and grounds work as needed.
• Perform routine manual duties and other related tasks as assigned.
