Yellow Brick Road is hiring a Bus Driver & Cook to ensure safe transportation of school-age children and to support meal preparation in the classroom. The role combines driving with in-room assistance and light kitchen duties, contributing to a warm, inclusive environment for children and families.

You will uphold safety, licensing compliance, and daily routines while participating in ongoing professional development and core center activities. Our program emphasizes growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to evacuate the vehicle safely in emergencies.
• Must pass background checks.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to complete upon hire).
• Completion of Safe Kids Buckle Up training.

Responsabilités

• Safely transport children to and from school and on field trips.
• Follow safety procedures to account for every child.
• Provide high-quality care with positive interactions.
• Perform weekly bus inspections and report findings.
• Carry out light cleaning duties on the bus and around the center.
• Greet parents and children warmly and professionally.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks following safe practices.
• Deliver meals to classrooms and collect dishes.
• Assist with general center cleaning and staffing coverage.
