Job summary

Child Development Schools Virginia is seeking a Bus Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for our students to and from school and activities. You will work with Lead Teachers to support young learners through hands-on activities, stories, and everyday moments that nurture curiosity and growth.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families and a positive role model within a collaborative teaching team dedicated to safe, engaging early childhood education.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Genuine care for children and a commitment to their safety and well-being.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for students to and from school and activities.
• Support classrooms and work with Lead Teacher to encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth.
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication.
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.
